Minky Couture started in 2009 when owner, Sandi Hendry’s daughter became very ill and was hospitalized for several months. During this time, Sandi longed for a way to bring comfort to her daughter while in recovery. Her daughter asked for a “big baby blanket” to snuggle up with during this time. Sandi looked everywhere for a fashionable, cozy blanket but was unable to find one perfect for her daughter. It was at this time that Sandi created the first-ever Adult size Minky Couture blanket. This incredibly soft blanket was swooned over by those surrounding her daughter in recovery. Sandi created 2 more, 10 more, 100 more per requests – giving them to those in need and selling them out of her trunk to people longing for luxurious comfort.
In 2015, we stretched ourselves to redefine minimalist carry goods. We took what was once boring black and brown leather wallets and designed our own expressive, minimalist, and functional wallets & accessories. By opening the door to the creative possibilities on a forgotten category we sparked a fire in youth at large and continue to attract artists, athletes, and leaders in indiviuality. Many years later, Thread established its brand mission, Carry On, as a call to any and all that values personal progress and self-expression. Originally from Oklahoma, Hilly moved to Utah to complete her Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication. This knowledge is based on numbers and human relationships. It has provided her with valuable skills she uses daily in Real Estate negotiations, educating home buyers and sellers, and effectively market her client's listings. She recognizes and values the trust her clients place in her and she strives every day to exceed their expectations. Hilly's clients often describe her as having high communication skills, proactive, fun to be around, and detail oriented. Hilly lives downtown Salt Lake and loves city life as well as the mountains. She enjoys spending time with her family, fur babies, and all of her close friends

Truly Mad Plastics came about for the need of our cookie page 4 Angels Bakery needing cookie cutters and having a hard time finding the shapes we wanted. To make a long story short, we started making them for just ourselves but several friends were asking for custom cutters and here we are today! We have gone from one printer in late September 2013 to several dozen now with more to come. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to providing you with all of your cutter needs.​

Arlene Chua is a NYC based Cookie Artist and the owner of Chua Cookie. She is an immigrant from the Philippines and is a self-proclaimed “Baking Banker,’ juggling her-full time job as a Senior Treasury Analyst for a Private Bank on Wall St alongside her cookiepreneur hustle. She is the creator of the Pink Perforated Baking mats, has an e-commerce shop, and teaches cookie classes. Arlene has appeared on the NY Times, several Food Network competitions and was titled Christmas Cookie Champion in 2023. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her furry baby and LOVES to shop.​
